Annette is one of my best friends here in fandom, but I'm not just recommending this because she wrote it lol. Her prose is lovely here. There's some great quotes, including the one used for the summary, and a fantastic analysis of the parallels between Dumbledore and Grindelwald and a great vertical slice of their relationship. I'ts really good stuff! She doesn't often do canon-compliant stuff but when she does, it's a TREAT!

After all, they've been friends for years, and he'd do anything for James.

But from house inspections, discussions of co-parenting, falling for a second child at the agency, and so much more, Qrow and James both quickly realize that their little scheme can, and will, have lifelong consequences: not just for themselves, but for their soon-to-be children, their friends and family, and everything else in their lives.
And, if that's not enough, it seems that something is stirring between the two men, something different from their close friendship. Could this closeness be drawing them toward a different kind of love, or is it just the stress talking?
Either way, neither is prepared for the consequences of their plan, nor the way it will change their families, or their feelings, forever.

I found this story back when it only had two or three chapters, and I knew I was in for a good time. I'd never actually read any Ironqrow before, but I love their dynamic here! There's also so much going on in the background (all based in canon) that the chapters really make you feel like your part of this community. Yang and Ruby are absolutely precious additions to an already-fantastic cast (Tai-yang, Summer, Raven, Qrow, and James). I really can't recommend this fic enough, so I hope y'all will give it a read if you're interested.

And so the dirty Kingsman binge continues. Seriously, though, I loved the one-shot this was based on and I'm so happy to see it get a multi-chapter sequel! As always, I love Sway's characterisation and their use of kink not only to titillate, but also to inform their characters. It borders on crack fic territory because some of the situations these three get into are truly ridiculous, but it's always so much fun to read! Completely random, but I love the fact that Eggsy is a professional gymnast. It just feels very right for him. Merlin and Harry haven't actually asked Eggsy to join them in the bedroom yet, but I'll be waiting with bated breath until they do!

Again, sorry for the short rec list this week. I try to do five, but I really haven't been reading very much. Have y'all read anything good? I'm always a huge slut for new material. I'm working through a backlog of multichapter fics lately, so I'm always happy to have something new to read!
