I went into this fic expecting it just to be a smutty threesome between 3 hot guys. Instead, I ended up with a really sweet story of a throuple slowly coming together. It's surprisingly emotional, and the three mains play off each other super well! A pleasant surprise.

I love this AU! The concept is so clever and I love the author's wordbuilding! She's also SUPER nice! I got to work with her on the artwork this fic is paired with (since it's part of a big bang), and I'm so glad my work was paired with such a cool fan fic! Gosh, this comic is so lovely! I love the way Whiteley draws both of the husbands, keeping them recognisablewhile still adding her own flare to them! I'm also just Weak for The Prince of Egypt, and it's clear that Whiteley drawing from the movie's colour pallet. If you love Good Omens and you somehow haven't read this yet, definitely give it a read!

*sigh* Theresa writes the most lovely fics. The sweetness and intimacy between Credence and Graves is palpable. I'm honestly not sure I'm in love with the smut, though it wasn't written by Theresa, so I can't blame her for it. And the fic is worth it just for the tenderness in my opinion.

1950s Soviet counterculture is a fascinating idea for an AU! And these two feel so in character despite the change in geography (tho it took me a while to get used to Russian Napoleon Solo). It's a great little multi-chapter fic and I love every second of it. It's pretty easy to forget that jazz was super countercultural back when it was first introduced to a white audience, and seeing it keep that cultural significance in a different country at a different time is absolutely fascinating!

Please don't even get me started. When I first learned Merwin was a thing I said to myself "this is not my bag, I came here for Hartwin." My friends, please remember to keep your mind open, because if I still had that opinion, I would not be enjoying a lovely fic like this! I love the character work that Anarchy has done with Eggsy, giving him a successful career as a marine (and all the dicipline and baggage that comes with it). He's still the Egg that we all know and love, but now he's also doing really well for himself! And the sex scene with Merlin is smoking hot. I can't wait for the new chapter!

I, for one, love the fact that Call Me By Your Name fandom almost always writes Oliver's wife as an interesting and sympathetic character. Kit is no different: snarky and quick-witted, it's clear why she and Oliver would have gotten along. I also really like that she even bothers to try and be on good terms with Elio. It's a great character piece and lots of fun to read!

Welp, what can I say? I see porn, and I read it.
But it's more than that. I really like that Merlin, Harry, and Eggsy are willing to switch things up every once in a while in terms of their dynamic! Mae was actually one of the first writers I read for Call Me By Your Name, and I read her updates religiously when I get the time! The story itself is absolutely lovely. It reminds me a lot of being in my own senior year in high school and all the crazy shit my friends and I got up to. But she puts in all these fantastic little details that call back to canon, and the characters are written in such a way that they still feel like themselves!

Ah man, I am in LOVE with this fic! Writingramblr is the QUEEN of smut, and some of her storytelling skills really shine here. Graves is perfectly characterised, and I loved seeing Credence's point of view and how his upbringing impacted him. Not to mention brain_curry's lovely artwork! It's a great piece, and I can't recommend it enough.

What a Valentine's Day gift! Sorcery and Writingramblr's styles work perfectly together, and, as always, the smut is to die for. Read this one a little while after it came out, so it does indeed qualify for this list. I love the characterisation of both Graves and Credence here. I love how Graves is, essentially, a tiger on a leash who allows Credence to tame him, and how Credence accepts that offer! This is the quality content we deserve!

I know I Don't Normally Go Here, but I had to read Watchmen for my graphic novel class, and let me tell you, it is incredible! I know this fic is short and old (the fandom is small and mostly quiet, since it's been a decade since the Snyder movie came out), but I was pleasantly surprised by this fic! I reread this one fairly recently, though I was lucky enough to follow it as it was being written. While the surrounding plot may seem a bit pulpy and like something out of an action movie, M_Monoceros really fleshes out Timmy, Luca,and Armie to the point where you really do love their relationship and want to see them succeed. She even adds some fantastic layers involving Armie's ex-wife (in the story, they're married in real life), but I won't spoil all that good stuff for you. Go read it yourself!
